Inoculations, Prescription Drugs,
Glasses/Contact Lenses
Contact a travel clinic or your physician well ahead of your departure
to determine if you require immunizations and preventive
medication.
If you take medication, be sure to pack an extra supply and a duplicate
of your original prescription in case you are away longer than expected
or your luggage is lost or stolen.
Carry an extra prescription that lists both the generic and trade names
of the drug and make sure that
all medicines are in their original and labeled containers. This is
also a good idea if you wear glasses or contact lenses. It may be a
good idea to bring along a spare pair of glasses if you have
one.
