Overview
This extraordinary touring adventure encompasses the highlights of Peru's diverse and rich cultural past. We commence in Lima and take the spectacular flight across the Andes to Cusco, the former capital of the vast Inca empire. From here we make forays into the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the unique ruins of Ollantaytambo and the famous ruins of Machu Picchu. We then cross the vast high altiplano on the remote journey to the shores of Lake Titicaca, where we visit the floating reed islands of the intriguing Uros Indians. From Juliaca we say farewell to the highlands and fly back to Lima where our trip concludes. This trip is ideal for those with limited time, but do not wish to miss out on Peru's southern highlights.
