From the bright lights of Las Vegas take in the stunning sights of Canyonlands National Park, Monument Valley and the most famous canyon of them all - the Grand Canyon. Along the way, stop by Zion National Park, explore Bryce Canyon and hang out with cowboys at a ranch.

Day 1 San Francisco

Arrive early to explore this eclectic city. Take a stroll through the Castro, wander past Fisherman's Wharf or meander along the streets of Chinatown.

Days 2-3 Yosemite National Park

Make tracks to Yosemite National Park - big, beautiful and impressive however you choose to explore it. In free time, why not stroll along Mirror Lake or hike to the lower Nevada Falls?

Day 4 Nevada Desert

Travel to the Eastern Sierra Nevada to enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and crystal-clear lakes. Have cameras ready as there will be countless photo opportunities today.

Days 5-6 Zion National Park

Hike through the Zion National Park and take in this strangely-coloured land. See the hulking masses of the Watchman and the West Temple as well as the huge white, pink and red rocks that make this park so visually stunning.

Day 7 Bryce Canyon National Park

Peruse the rust-coloured steeples and pinnacles that pierce the terrain of the Red Canyon before continuing to Bryce Canyon. Watch the sunset colour the hoodoos (tall, thin rock spires) of the national park in gold and red light.

Day 8 Lake Powell

Drive through the unspoiled landscapes of the Navajo Indian Reservation on the way to Glen Canyon and Lake Powell. Take a dip in the cool, fresh waters or just laze on the lake's sunny shores.

Day 9 Monument Valley

Discover the flaming-red freestanding rock formations that have served as a backdrop for countless Hollywood westerns. Choose to explore this weird and wonderful terrain on a guided jeep tour, learn about the park's significance to the Navajo and enjoy a traditional dinner together.

Days 10-11 Grand Canyon

Stretching 450 km long, up to 30 km wide and carving 1.6 km deep into the earth, it's easy to see how this canyon achieved its moniker. Overwhelming in real life, the Grand Canyon is a natural wonder and awe-inspiring at any angle. Why not take a helicopter flight to get a true idea of its magnitude? Top off this memorable day with a fiery-hued Grand Canyon sunset.

Days 12-13 Las Vegas

The hedonistic world of Las Vegas has to be seen to be believed. Dance with Lady Luck, catch a show or pull up a chair at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Day 14 Los Angeles

Journey through the Mojave Desert en route to the 'City of Angels'.
