From the Californian coast on the Pacific to the deserts of Nevada, this 8 day camping tour takes in a multitude of sights and climates. Starting in the beautiful city of San Francisco and home to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, we wander through some of the tallest trees in the world at nearby Muir Woods, before heading into the Sierra Nevada mountains. Then we explore Yosemite National Park, one of the best parks in North America, a haven for trekking and the great outdoors. Next, we briefly stop in Los Angeles on our way to Joshua Tree National Park, a surreal landscape of twisted rock formations and the legendary, bizarrely shaped Joshua Cacti. However, nothing can prepare anyone for the almighty, jaw-dropping Grand Canyon where words and photos simply fail to describe the act of actually being there! Last stop is Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world. You may want to consider staying a couple of extra days to soak up the atmosphere.
