Day 1 MarrakechRinging with the sounds of musicians, storytellers and snake charmers, Marrakech is a dizzying spectacle. Explore the maze of alleyways in the bustling souqs and have fun haggling for a bargain. Day 2 Ait BenhaddouTake in the magnificence of the Bahia Palace and the sights and sounds of the souqs on a morning tour of Marrakech. Then, leave the city behind and drive to Ait Benhaddou. Marvel at the World Heritage-listed kasbah which dominates the landscape. See why this impressive fortified city has been the star of so many Hollywood films, including Gladiator and The Mummy. Days 3-4 Zaouit IferganeJourney through scenic mountain passes, and the city of Taroudannt, on the way to our Riad stay. This traditional farm offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of the local people. Stay in a rustic riad and take the opportunity to hone culinary skills at a cooking class. Learn to make a traditional Moroccan tagine - sure to become a family favourite. Days 5-6 EssaouiraTake the winding coastal road to the shimmering seaside town of Essaouira. Along the way, keep watch for agile goats who can often be spotted climbing trees! Dotted with riads, fishing boats and winding alleys, Essaouira's charm is undeniable. It's the perfect place to enjoy free time with the family. Hire a camel, go for a walk along the sandy beaches, indulge in a seafood feast, or go kite surfing - there's something here for everyone. Days 7-8 MarrakechReturn to Marrakech and finish the adventure with a mint tea at a rooftop cafe overlooking Djemma el-Fna.
