| Itinerary |
Day 1 FethiyeWeigh anchor in Fethiye and sail out into Samanlik Bay aboard a gulet, a traditional Turkish yacht. Get acquainted with fellow sailors and crew, and settle into the accommodation. Feast on Turkish delicacies onboard and jump ship at Oludeniz, a beautiful lagoon surrounded by densely forested hills and flanked by a long spit of sandy beach. Perhaps take the option to visit St Nicholas Island and Butterfly Valley and watch the sunset over the Mediterranean. Days 2-3 Gulet SailingCruise further out into the Mediterranean. Snorkel and swim in the warm waters or relax up on deck. Play backgammon with fellow sailors or crew - there will never be a better backdrop for board games than this. Spend time anchored at Kalkan, Kas and Kekova. These quaint seaside towns offer an authentic Turkish coastal experience - nothing beats feasting on fresh seafood by the shore or visiting a teahouse to meet some of the locals. End the day watching the sun melt into the ocean and fall asleep to the gentle rocking of your private gulet. Day 4 OlimposLose your sea legs back on dry land in Demre. Travel to Olimpos where the tour concludes. You may want to explore ancient ruins or scale the rocky slopes of Mt Olimpos to see the Chimaera, a cluster of spontaneous flames that blaze from crevices in the mountain.
