Day 1 Arrive DubrovnikWelcome to the Pearl of the Adriatic. Wander the city walls for a bird's eye view of the historic Old Town. Then, why not soak up the lively atmosphere of this special place with a stroll along Placa, the pedestrian promenade. Days 2-6 DubrovnikStaying in the idyllic village of Mlini, just south of the city, provides the perfect base to explore the hidden treasures of Dubrovnik and its surrounds. Follow the winding Serpentina path to the top of Mt Srdj for stunning views over the city, and out across the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Paddle a sea kayak past the magnificent city walls en route to the lush island of Lokrum. The next day saddle up for a bike ride through the scenic valleys and vineyards of the Konavle region. There's an opportunity for a spot of wine tasting for the adults, while the kids can feast on tasty dried figs. Choose your own adventure for the rest of the time. Why not cross the border on a day trip to see the Ottoman town of Mostar in Bosnia? Explore an old Turkish house, visit a mosque, or wander through the colourful bazaar. For the more adventurous, take the family rafting back in Croatia. Finally, choose to get off the beaten track and explore the countryside around Dubrovnik. Stop off at Molunat for a swim at the beach, before heading on to Ljuta for a village lunch.
