| Overview |
This eight day family adventure starts in Vienna, the home of music, the Hapsburg Empire, the Sacher torte and plenty of fun! Have a spin on the Prater Ferris Wheel and see the amazing views of the sparkling city! Experience the special children's tour, which introduces you to life in the old days in the magnificent Schonbrunn Chateau. Then it's back to nature, where we hike to the romantic Falkenstein ruins before we take a tractor ride through the vineyards and visit a nonsensical crazy village on our way to the Czech Republic. The Bohemian countryside is like a fairytale stage set. You can bike, hike or take a carriage or boat ride through the lovely countryside in Lednice-Valtice UNESCO area. We visit Mikulov Chateau and hike in the Palava Biospheric Reserve with its Devin Castle Ruins, Turold Cave and amazing landscape. Next stop Kutna Hora where we lose count of all the skulls in the catacombs before taking an adventurous bobsleigh ride. On arrival in Prague we walk through the magic city, with its gothic spires, and pointy steeples, learning all about the astronomical clock in the main square and walking through time in the streets of the Old Town. Please note that the child price is only applicable for children under 12 sharing a room with 2 adults, with a maximum of one child per room. If children are in a separate room, or if 1 child is sharing with only 1 adult, then the adult price applies.
