Uncover the mysteries of Far North Queensland on this adventure into rock art and rainforest country, and help save 2 key rainforest species along the way. Over three days, you will travel through World Heritage-listed rainforest, and contribute to its conservation by planting trees in the habitat of Australia's most feared yet endangered bird, the Cassowary. Discover secluded waterfalls, relive Cook's adventures and a rollicking gold rush, travel through the rough dusty outback in a 4WD and, of course, peruse ancient rock art near a classic Aussie Safari camp.

Day 1 CairnsThis tropical northern town is an ideal base for explorations out to the Great Barrier Reef, Atherton Tablelands and Cape Tribulation. Day 2 CooktownDepart Cairns and travel north along the picturesque coastal drive before climbing the Great Dividing Range into an outback landscape of termite mounds and cattle stations. Stop along the way to climb sandstone escarpment for spectacular views en route to Cooktown. Check out ancient aboriginal rock art and visit the bewitching Black Mountain National Park. In the evening why not meet the locals at an outback pub in Australia's most historic gold rush town. Day 3 Daintree National ParkDrop in to a classic outback pub, en-route to Wujal Wujal Aboriginal community. Meet a family to learn about their traditional knowledge of bush tucker and medicine and join them for a picnic lunch at Bloomfield Falls. Head down the Bloomfield Track and into the amazing Daintree Rainforest. Crossing rivers in our 4x4 and checking out the gorgeous Cape Tribulation are highlights of today's adventure. Day 4 CairnsExplore the sights of Australia's tropical north. Pass a Daintree tea plantation, see a forest of spectacular 'fan palms'. Learn about the Daintree's primeval rainforest on a guided walk and cross the Daintree River on a cable ferry before spotting wildlife from the water level on a scenic cruise. Return to the tropical city of Cairns.
