Day 1 Arrive Ho Chi Minh CityStart with a morning walking tour to Chinatown. Weave through the maze of narrow side streets filled with traditional medicine stores, Chinese restaurants and calligraphy kiosks. Stop off at the Thien Hau pagoda, dedicated to Thien Hau, the goddess of seafarers. For shoppers there's a chance to practice the local language and bartering skills. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. After lunch visit the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Opera house and downtown Saigon. Day 2 Depart Ho Chi Minh CityLeaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City behind journey into the countryside to visit the Cao Dai Temple. Arrive in time for the noon ceremony at the temple. Continue on to the Cu Chi Tunnels, built by fighters during the wars of last century. Learn more about the conditions the people lived in, the hardships they faced and the amazing ingenuity employed to maintain life in the tunnels. Return to Ho Chi Minh where the adventure ends.
