Day 1 BangkokThere are so many exciting ways to see the sights in Bangkok - hail a tuk-tuk to explore the busy streets or shop up a storm in the markets. Days 2-3 KanchanaburiCruise through the canals of Bangkok to see the magnificent Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and perhaps explore the city's chaotic floating markets. Then it's off to Kanchanaburi to visit the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai and to take a dip under the seven-tiered waterfall in Erawan National Park. Day 4 AyuthayaVisit the ancient temples of Ayuthaya, one of the most well-preserved historical sites in Thailand. Travel back in time to a significant period in Siamese history and maybe even enjoy a game of hide-and-seek among the ruins. Day 5 Chiang MaiGet up close to hippos, gibbons and rhinos at the Chiang Mai Zoo. Enjoy the views from the top of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep before an evening at the colourful Night Bazaar. Day 6 Elephant Training Centre/HomestaySee bath time at the Elephant Conservation Centre near Chiang Mai before taking an unforgettable ride through the jungle atop one of these gentle giants. Spend the night in a small village and be welcomed into the homes of some of Intrepid's local friends to share a traditional khantohk dinner. Days 7-8 Chiang MaiExplore a community forest with local guides and learn about the different kinds of herbal medicines and wild foods that can be found there. Back in Chiang Mai, there are loads of fun things to do that will keep everyone happy. Take a boat tour down the river, explore golden temples or try a Thai cooking class. Day 9-10 Hua HinThe Thailand Family Adventure comes to an end back in Bangkok where there are still many fun and fascinating attractions to visit. Ride the Skytrain, visit the huge shopping centres or have an aquatic adventure at Siam Ocean World.
