Days 1-2 BeijingVisit China and begin this epic rail adventure in bustling Beijing, home to Tiananmen Square and the fascinating Forbidden City. Why not take a day trip to visit the iconic Great Wall of China. Days 3-6 Ulaanbaatar/Nomad CampExplore Ulaanbaatar's mix of shops and cafes or witness a mystical ceremony at Gandan Khiid, Mongolia's largest monastery. Enjoy a night of traditional accommodation sleeping in a ger tent. Days 7-10 Ulan Ude/Lake BaikalUnwind in Ulan Ude, a hillside Buryat city that is home to numerous Buddhist temples. Hike along the shores of the world's deepest lake. Follow the locals' lead and after enjoying the great outdoors, hit the banya for an end-of-day steam. Days 11-12 Trans-Siberian RailwayTravel through five time zones on a journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway - the world's longest train line. Days 13-14 KungurTake in the dramatic scenery, ranging from dense taiga to vast industrial Russian cities. Arrive at Kungur and choose to visit a local museum or nearby ice caves.
