If weather permits, embark on a night walk with one of the park rangers. Day 3 KuchingAfter an invigorating morning hike, farewell the jungle and head to Semenggoh Orangutan Sanctuary. Once back in Kuching, perhaps mosey down to the riverbank and watch tambang ferries glide by, or visit Sarawak Museum, one of the most popular attractions in Kuching. Visit nearby waterfalls on a guided jungle walk, gain insights into the locals' day-to-day life and discover their fascinating headhunting history. Day 5 SibuHit the road and travel to the riverside town of Sibu. While here, soak up fantastic views from the seven-storey Chinese pagoda. Visit Deer Cave at sunset, go underground in Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave, which contains Asia's longest underground river, and climb to the summit of the Pinnacles Trail. Day 9 Headhunters' Trail/LimbangWalk part of the ominously named Headhunters Trail, historically used by warring parties that were travelling between the Limbang and Tutoh rivers. Head downriver to Medamit before transferring to Limbang. Days 10-11 Kota KinabaluKick back on the ferry ride to a beachside resort near Kota Kinabalu.
