Day 9 Tengeru HomestayLearn about the life of the Meru as privileged guests at a family homestay. Perhaps explore the nearby markets or learn about Tanzanian coffee production. Day 10 KaratuContinue exploring the land of the Maasai and meet the Umburu people on a visit to a village. Days 11-12 Serengeti National ParkDiscover the wide, open Serengeti plains, home to sleek predators and large herds of zebras and wildebeest. Spot as many of the Big Five as possible on a game drive, then fall asleep amid the calls of the Serengeti's nocturnal inhabitants. Day 13 Ngorongoro CraterTake a game drive through the park before arriving at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater to set up camp. Day 14 ArushaRide in a 4x4 to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, home to some 30,000 animals. Afterwards, visit the village of Mto Wa Mbu and camp on the outskirts of Arusha.
