Day 1 NairobiDiscover Nairobi's many bars, cafes and restaurants. Try visiting the Karen Blixen Museum for a peek into the life of this famous author. Day 2 Arusha/TengeruAfter travelling into Tanzania, pay a visit to a local farm. Why not take the chance to milk a cow and feed the chickens? This is the perfect chance to learn about rural life in East Africa. Day 3 Lake Manyara National ParkTry to spot Lake Manyara's legendary tree-climbing lions and watch out for the herds of zebras, wildebeest and buffaloes that roam the surrounding plains of this national park. Days 4-5 Serengeti National ParkTravel via Olduvai Gorge to the Serengeti, where golden grasses stretch as far as the eye can see. Venture across the plains and around the rocky outcrops on safari to uncover the many animals that call the Serengeti home. Explore the national park at dawn and dusk, when both predator and prey are most active. Witness firsthand the unrelenting cycle of life on the African savanna. At night, relax in comfort back at the lodge. Days 6-7 Ngorongoro CraterTry to spot big cats lazing in the sun during an early-morning game drive. Before travelling on to the immense Ngorongoro Crater, soak up final views of the sweeping Serengeti plains while enjoying a picnic lunch. The following day, descend to the floor of volcanic Ngorongoro on a 4x4 safari. An abundance of species coexist here including gazelles, zebras, buffaloes and elephants. Day 8 ArushaExplore a small village on a guided tour, visiting farms, homes and schools. Spend time with friendly villagers and learn about their way of life. Looking for a souvenir? Perhaps pick up some colourful artwork from the market before returning to Arusha to wind up the Tanzania Lodge Safari.
