Days 1-2 Victoria FallsKick-off this unforgettable tour in Zimbabwe's adrenaline capital. Admire the incredible torrent of white water at Victoria Falls, where spray shoots hundreds of metres into the air. Explore the falls more closely or perhaps try some of the adventure activities on offer such as whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, abseiling and canyoning. Day 3 Chobe National ParkTravel to Botswana and head for the plains and waterways of Chobe National Park. Famous for its elephant herds, Chobe also shelters lions, hippos and African fish eagles. Enjoy a relaxing water safari down the Chobe River in the golden light of the afternoon - this is one of the best ways to see these creatures at close quarters. Day 4 PalapyeChoose to rise early and head out on an exciting open-vehicle safari. Try to spot the enormous Chobe elephants making their migration either north or south, depending on the time of year. Afterwards, journey to Palapye and use free time to explore the town centre before sampling traditional cuisine at a local cafe or restaurant. Days 5-6 Kruger National ParkThe tour continues across the border into South Africa. Travel through the expansive savanna and rolling hills of the spectacular Kruger National Park, keeping an eye out for the unusual white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, lions and elands. Choose to go on an optional night game drive to see nocturnal predators spring into action, or even set off on an optional early morning nature walk with a guide. Days 7-8 Greater Kruger/JohannesburgEmbark on a final safari in Kruger park to try and spot more interesting species, then pay a visit to the Southern African Wildlife College to learn about the important role that guides play in the protection of animals and the environment. Enjoy the spoils of another overnight camp before making tracks to the modern city of Johannesburg, via the scenic Blyde River Canyon.
