Day 7 Palmwag Desert OasisHike to the mountain the following morning and see the famous 'White Lady' rock painting, believed to be 20,000 years old. Continue on to a shaded oasis in Palmwag Desert. Days 8-9 Etosha National ParkExplore the vast Etosha Pan, an immense saline desert that's a haven for black rhinos. Game drives through the park may reveal zebras, giraffes, leopards and lions. At night watch the animals come down to drink from the floodlit watering hole. Days 10-11 GrootfonteinGet to know the customs and traditions of the San Bushmen. Learn how to track animals, and gather seeds and plants while camping with these remarkable people. Days 12-13 WindhoekExplore the largest wood-carving market in the country in Okahandja. Then, take a tour around the historic township of Katutura before ending the adventure back in the capital.
