10 things you must see/do in Australia /south.


Australia - Walk 9.4km around Uluru (Ayers Rock), the world's biggest monolith. It is about 345 metres high to climb it and is thought to be the tip of a mountain which extends kilometres below the ground's surface. It is 3.6km long, 2km wide and is roughly oval in shape. It is renowned for the way it changes colour in the light and is particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset.
